yoga class styles

  • gentle/novice

Work on yogic foundations in this class.
I will guide you through breathwork, physical alignment and balance, offering several ways to make the experience your own. Learn mindfulness techniques to use both on and off the mat, so you can stay strong, focused and in control.

  • slow flow

Pranayama (breath control) opens every Slow Flow class to help ground you. Gracefully flow through several asana (pose) sequences to build intensity, warmth, and challenge your strength and stamina. Finish with healing and rest with guided meditation in Savasana.

  • mindful movement

This super gentle class caters to the needs of the marginalised yogi - those healing from injury, surgery, illness and/or trauma. The chair is your friend as you learn to be mindful of the needs of your body and heart in a space that allows you to explore your potential.

  • hatha yoga

    Saturday morning yoga - hooray!
Spend 75 minutes in this more traditional class to hone your skills in interroception, drishti, alignment, stamina, balance & strength. Experience Qi Gong, intermediate pranayama techniques and silent meditation.

  • yin & meditation

A practice of surrender, this wonderfully restorative form of yoga will have you hold each pose for several minutes to target deep connective tissue. Allow your muscles and your mind to let go.
Soothing Guided Yoga Nidra at the end will help deepen your experience.

  • private sessions

Tania is an amazing yoga teacher. She takes time to tune into your challenges and really helps to guide you through the classes.

Whether you are a beginner or old timer, I loved her approach to working with us. I felt supported and confident. The classes are small and always different and the time truly flies!

Honestly, I can't thank Tania enough. You will definitely feel restored and energised afterwards. I have practised yoga for many years and can definitely say it keeps me youthful, strong and positive.

  • Rie T

I really like Tania’s yoga class. It’s very welcoming and relaxed. I was a bit nervous taking my first class because I am still a beginner and I last did yoga a few years ago. But Tania was very patient with me, I felt comfortable throughout the class and I ended up enjoying it and feeling so much better from inside and out.

I really recommend these classes to a person like me, who is hesitating to come back to it or scared to try it. She will draw you in to the world of Yoga with her calm and gentle voice.

I would like to keep coming to Tania’s yoga classes.

  • Leisha P

(The) yoga classes that you run on a Friday night are very relaxing.

You explain everything so well that we can do it at our level.

    That works well for me!

  • Keigo K

My first class back from an injury
and Tania was so accommodating to me.

There was no pressure or sense of rushing.
I left feeling connected & confident again!

She is a light-hearted, down to earth yoga teacher and I could tell how much she genuinely cares. A high recommendation from me!

  • Chrissy L

    Tania’s yoga classes are brilliant.
With utmost respect for her teachings and her calm and nurturing nature, she guides you through thoughtfully tailored flows, with explanation to help you understand the best technique and reason behind the movements. This really helped me to settle and breathe into each position and get the most out of my sessions.

A relaxing & refreshing way to start or end the day! Great class sizes and lovely studio space with quality equipment available for those who arrive without. Thanks Tania, I can’t wait for my next session!

  • Emma R

Tania's classes have been an absolute life saver!

I had only just done a few online classes prior to meeting her and she has made me completely addicted to yoga, particularly to the Yin classes which are extremely relaxing and gentle. Tania is lovely and kind, patient and dedicated - let her know your goals, and she will carefully adjust the sequence and help you work towards them.

She has helped me progress very quickly already. I cannot recommend her classes enough.

  • Dolores M

I would like to recommend Tania Alexander.
I have been a student for several months.

Her classes, Yin & Meditation, Gentle/Novice and Slow Flow are adapted for new students and those more experienced. Classes are small, in a spacious studio with natural light.

    It’s a rather perfect gift for one's self. 🌻

  • George I

I find Tania's yoga classes are a great way to start the day feeling refreshed.
Tania's classes are relaxed and comfortable.

She has an eye for detail which is extremely helpful, making it easy to follow correct yoga postures, meditation and yogic breathing.

Her classes have helped me regain my strength, flexibility, balance and overall fitness. I strongly recommend her classes to improve your fitness at whatever age you are.

  • Fleur M

Tania is a fantastic yoga teacher. Her classes are always a joy to attend.
I love how each class is different.

You can tell that Tania loves doing what she does. There is plenty of support and encouragement that she gives her clients and the small class sizes are just perfect. I highly recommend if you are a beginner or more experienced. Tania is such a genuine and approachable person, this is reflected in her classes.

You don't need to be kitted out in the latest yoga fashion or be Instagram-ready. Just have a willingness to enjoy and learn.

  • Sandra

    What an amazing experience!
Tania is a fantastic instructor. Gentle, encouraging, understanding....

Love the venue and atmosphere of small groups. It has been the perfect introduction for me as a first timer.
    I felt comfortable straight away.

It is excellent for my body but I never realised how good it would be for my mental health.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  • Vijay R
